5-Day Style Challenge: Why You Should Hop In TODAY!

I am starting right off by letting you know that I am now offering a program called the  5-Day Style Challenge:  Discover Your Closet's Potential .  At the time I am writing this blog, this is a free style challenge.  Once this challenge closes down on October 21st, 2023, it will be available for purchase . What is the 5-Day Style Challenge?  If you struggle inside of your closet and wear the same outfits over and over, this challenge is for you!  Did you know that studies show that most women wear only 20% of what is in their closet 80% of the time?!  That's a lot of wasted real estate!  Inside of this challenge, I am encouraging you with simple ideas that will help you create BRAND NEW Outfits with the clothes you already own!  Yes, please! This challenge is going to give you ideas and fresh eyes when you look at your closet.  Training your eye is a key to getting dressed in a creative way and this challenge does just that....

The Key to a Versatile Closet - Styling One Item FIVE completely different ways!

Most people don't think in terms of building a "wardrobe".  When out shopping, most people see something really pretty that they like and get drawn in without taking into consideration what they already have in their wardrobe.  I know that as a Stylist, I fall into this trap commonly.  I see all of the pretty things when I am shopping online or in-person and it's hard to hold back!  Even I must talk myself "off of the ledge" to impulse buying! Living busy lives as we all do these days, something that can come up on your social calendar rather commonly is an event "after hours".  Whether this is after hours with co-workers, friends, a significant other, or whomever, it can lead to thoughts of "What can I wear to work that will transition well to my evening social gathering?" No one wants to add more laundry to the mix (it's the one thing that NEVER leaves us, after all), so why not make use of what you have already put on your body? I love the idea of day-to-night style because as a Stylist, I want my Clients to own pieces that are versatile enough in their closets that they work for different occasions. Daytime style and nighttime style are very different.  During the day, you want to be more modest when you are in the office or going to appointments and you want your outfit to be elevated and more chic when you head out for dinner or drinks. Today, I'm going to explore some options for transition...
